Synopsis

Giampaolo Russo, a young Italian artist living in Zurich, is searching for new ways in figurative painting in a community where painting is regarded as a conservative medium. While images take shape on the screen, Russo exposes his understanding of art as an uncompromised search for truth that requires a continuous destruction and reconstruction in order to move forward. Authentic artistic freedom is the capability of feeling lost... A glimpse of the passionate drive and endurance of young contemporary artists.
